That being said, when we got back to their house Gary opened the door with a sheepish look on his face. I took that to mean instead of laying her down to sleep they probably held her the entire two hours we were gone. (People tend to do that a lot!!) Jayne however was a fussy mess ever since we left her (for approx. two or 3 hours). She wouldn't take any more of her bottle from Gary and wouldn't go to sleep. But the minute I took her she calmed down and took the rest of her bottle...she just loves her mommy what can I say!!! Jared & I think we may have left her too quickly and may need to transition her to people she hasn't been alone with for awhile. Poor baby! But the minute we got her home, I rocked her and put her down and she was out like a light in five minutes. I pray this is not a sign of how she'll be in Ohio this next week...Lord help us!! J/k she usually transitions well and was probably just having an "off" night!
Yesterday Jayne had an AMAZING day...seriously the best day EVER!!! She took a 2.5 hr nap in the am and then took two 1 hr naps in the afternoon...both in her crib. I was thrilled! And when she was awake she did awesome tummy time and play time by herself (I'm really hoping this continues b/c I need to get some stuff done around the house during the day!!!) And Jayne and I are really excited for our trip to Ohio...we'll miss daddy but can't wait for time with the grandparents!!!
