Savannah did great at the doctor today. Two shots weren't the best birthday gift we could have given her, but she did great! Jayne actually did worse. Jared took her out of the room so she wouldn't witness the actual shot, and when I got out to the car Jayne was freaking out. Sobbing and saying she *needed* to see sissy's boo boo's. It was actually kind of cute! Savannah was smiling at this point and Jayne was sobbing. Figured it would be the other way around!
Savannah surprised us both by not weighing as much as we thought (as with every appt since birth!). She weighs 19.4 lbs (25%) and is 29.25" long (75%). The specific notes were that she is slightly underweight and tall for her age. Ha!
Savannah had a wonderful birthday. We woke her up this morning singing happy birthday and brought her down to all her presents before daddy went to work. Then we had MOPS were she was hugged, loved and sung too all morning. We came home for naps and then off to the doctor followed by cupcakes with daddy at SAS. Then Jared headed downtown for his work meeting and I took the girls out for dinner and ran some errands. We didn't get home until late and both girls were melting down so it was quick baths and off to bed. Had a wonderful day celebrating our girl!
