I'll just begin by saying the first part of our trip was bad...the airline lost our luggage. They actually think someone stole it. Boo! I saw it come off the pane. It came off right before our gate checked stroller did. I was thinking "awesome, it'll be there by the time we get to baggage claim". Yeah, not so much! Everyone says it baffles them b/c our bag was scanned in Detroit just never made it into our hands. Everything is replaceable, its all materialistic...but honestly it still hurts just a little bit thinking all my favorite clothes, both mine and the girls were in there. So we spent the first few days replacing items that we needed (pjs, coats, toothbrushes) calling around and doing paperwork and praying our bag would be found. But its pretty much a lost cause at this point and we should be reimbursed by the beginning of December. Just in time for good sales!
But, we had a fabulous time with our family and as always the time went by way too fast!
The weather in Ohio was beautiful and we enjoyed many park play dates
Wondering what my ad is doing...scroll down...
Yup, shes watching to make sure she has an audience for this temper tantrum
We had lots of time with grandma Jeanee too
And chief the neighbors puppy
And a couple trips to Gust brothers farm
Dad & I took the girls to the zoo. Toledo seriously has the best zoo.
Love going every time we go home.
They recently completed a million dollar elephant enclosure. Its crazy what great views you can get of these guys! Check out this little guy...he rolled the tree stump over so he could stand to reach the hay! So smart =)
Even teh elephants had pumpkin treats!
The playground and kiddie area was of course a highlight!
My aunt & grandma drove up from Columbus for a few hours to see me and the girls. I was so happy to see them and love that they would drive for literally a couple hours with us!
Jake was so good with the girls all week!
I love traveling home this time of year too b/c we were able to make the Sylvania fall festival. The girls loved watching eh parade and enjoying the family area my parents church puts on for the kids. Jayne especially loved all the games!
We also spent some time with Jared's cousins and their kids. Jayne loves her "cousins" and even spent a few hours after the parade playing with them at their house while sissy napped. We missed daddy, but had a great time (sans luggage issue). Thanks to everyone for making our trip so enjoyable!
