She's two

Its official...my baby is two today! I can't believe it, I really cant. Every week she grows up on me a little more and I see her being less baby and more "big girl". The things she says and does floors me, makes me laugh. She is beautiful, animated, sweet, spunky and oh so fun!

Savannah has blossomed this year being in school. She loves her teachers and is saying Bible verses and singing songs. She thrives in this environment and its such a joy to watch her grow. She is adventurous ..does everything her big sister does and LOVES to jump off anything and everything. All I hear is "momma watch this" and turn to see her jumping off the stairs, the couch, the toy box. We definitely think she is going to be our athletic one. She can throw a ball really well and loves to play soccer and is extremely coordinated. Savannah also loves to line things up. She'll line balls up outside, little people "people", her cars. I love watching her little OCD tendencies (no idea where she gets that from!)

Savannah has been sleeping in her big girl bed for almost two months now and every morning runs into our room saying "I did it. I slept in big bed". She LOVES watching movies and TV. Her current favorites are Sophia the first, anything Tinkerbelle and some show Jared found on Netflix called Horseland. She is beginning to tell me when she has gone potty but still doesn't want to sit on the potty and actually try going. But we're getting there.

Friday night Savannah ran up to me and told me (while pointing to her mouth) "money momma, money" when I asked her where it was she said mouth. I asked if she ate money and she said "uh huh" with a big smile on her face. I panicked a bit but I don't know for sure if she ate it and shes acting fine so we're watching her and looking for "it" to come out. Lol, gross but true =) Oh the joys of having a toddler!

Savannah adores her big sister. "Jayne-bug" is the first and last person Savannah asks for every morning and every night. They enjoy wrestling with each other and hugging. They play with boxes and build forts and have tea parties. I love the sister bond that has already formed between the two of them.

Savannah is my snuggle bug and loves sitting with me or running up to me saying "hold you me momma". She also LOVES food...mainly carbs and sugar =) We were a little surprised at her party when she didn't touch her cake and only ate icecream...at least she didn't cry this year!

My little blondie...you test your limits and try new things and I love that independence. Oh the teenage years are going to be fun with you my dear. You have your daddy wrapped around your little finger and I love how you run to greet him every night when he comes home.

Savannah Lynn...we love you so much. You are a light in this family and such a joy to watch grow and learn. So excited to see what the next year will bring. Love you to the moon baby girl!

Love Momma & Daddy
