As most of you probably read below, when we first brought the crib home we realized that the two side pieces were damaged. After originally being told it would take 3-4 weeks for the replacement pieces to arrive, they showed up seven days later...yeah!!! So, as tired as he was from his business trip, Jared went to work putting the crib together tonight. Which I must say, was relatively easy. We chose the sturdiest crib we could find (we literally walked around Babies R Us shaking cribs to see if they felt flimsy). We love our choice! We also bought the matching dresser/changing table combo unit which has drawers and a side compartment with shelves. Perfect for all of Baby S's tiny clothes...which by the way I have started to accumulate. Although you can see most are blue & green. Being my favorite two colors, I don't mind putting a baby girl in blue/green clothes that may be somewhat boyish. I do have an issue putting a boy in pink clothes, so you won't see any of that!!!

Almost finished!

Finished product, bedding and all!
After much deliberation, we finally found bedding that we both liked from Pottery Barn Kids. Again green & blue stripes with really cute elephants on the bumper and crib sheet (my inspiration for the wall artwork).
