Belly Update

5 Weeks 17 Weeks 26 Weeks

For the record, I hate the first picture...yuck! But its the only one I have of my belly the day we found out we were pregnant. I thought it would be fun to see how far I've come from the day we found out to today. I've definitely grown some, haven't I??!!

I continue to be amazed at how blessed I've been not to be sick or have any complications. I feel wonderful...the worst has been heartburn and a few days when I've had "growing pains" or pressure from the baby laying low in my belly. But I can handle it!

The baby is now about 2 lbs and has a heightened sense of sight (its eyes are now open) and hearing. I noticed this the other day when I was making Jared coffee and I turned the grinder on, the baby startled. I guess I scared him/her! And according to our appt. last Monday, the baby is still growing right on schedule...although Momma feels like she's gaining pounds a week now! I avoid looking in mirrors...people tell me I'm glowing and I feel like a cow...crazy time!

We're headed to Ohio this weekend to see my family, college roommates and celebrate my brother & his fiance's wedding. It will be a whirlwind trip, but definitely worth it. Can't wait to catch up with everyone!!
