Jayne is beginning to develop more of a personality and has started cooing and making more "baby" noises. We're still waiting for her to smile in recognition and not just when she's eating!! Jayne is such a joy and watching her grow the past four weeks has been such a blessing and gift from God. She is spending more time awake and alert and is starting to focus more on our faces and will turn her head when we talk to her. We're still working on her to look to her left...she sleeps and lays with her head on the right side. Wonder if this means she'll be a righty??
Top Ten things I've learned this month...
1- Being a mommy is the most rewarding and hardest thing I've ever done
2- Staying home every day is lonelier than I thought it would be
3- It is possible to survive on three hours of sleep
4- I get tired of hearing myself talk
5- Life with a new baby does get easier every day
6- I need to live in the moment more
7- I cherish alone time with my hubby
8- People know what they're talking about when they say sleep when the baby does
9- Getting pooped on is now part of my "normal"
10- Accept help when its offered...I don't have to do it all on my own
