I'm in awe of how fast time goes when you don't want it to. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed every minute of the past 12 weeks and I LOVE watching Jayne grow and find herself...but she won't stay this little and I'm trying to cherish every moment with her (yes, even the crying ones!!).
Things I want to remember of the past 12 weeks...
- how much I love seeing all the pink everywhere
- how Jayne is happiest in the morning...she stops crying the minute she sees our faces peaking over the crib rail
- how she still poo's right after we change her...you'd think we 'd have learned by now!!
- how her smile lights up her entire face
- how her little chin quivers right before she wails
- how she can be crying her head off and stop the minute you pick her up
- how she coo's at herself in the mirror (gets that from Daddy & Grandma Jeanee)
- how when she's tired she rubs her face against our shoulders and cries pitifully
- how she tries to mimic our facial expressions
- how adorably sweet she looks sleeping
- how tiny she was when we first brought her home
- how sometimes she just wants mommy
- how fast she came into this world (and how easy delivery was)
- how much love we have for this little girl

Our sweet girl is growing up too fast! My good friend, Kirstin, came into town this weekend and was kind enough (and brave enough) to tackle the job of taking Jayne's 3 month pictures. She had awesome ideas for props (which we bought at Target, of course!!) and even bought Jayne her first (but not her last) pink tutu!! The tutu looks amazing in the pictures as you can see. Kirstin and I are both playing around with the pictures in Photoshop so we'll have more to post later, but I had to give you a sneak peek! I am still getting professional shots taken in Sept...but I don't know if we'll want or be able to pay for them, plus I like having the files to do whatever I want with. The place we're having them done at has amazing deals for the sitting fee, etc to get you in the door, but then you have to buy pictures. So we'll see how they turn out...if nothing else maybe I'll get ideas for Jayne's 6 month shoot...I've already told Kirstin has to come back at least every three months for Jayne's photo shoots (she works for Jet Blue so she can pretty much fly wherever...the best job ever if you ask me!! Other than being a mommy of course!). enjoy the picts...more to come later.
Kirstin also challenged me to blog a picture a day of Jayne. So I'm going to try and do that...some days I may post a picture and text and some days I may only post a picture, but you'll be able to see how Jayne grows or what we do each day. My brother & SIL gave me a gift card to Barnes & Noble for my birthday for cookbooks since I am tackling cooking these days...I got two new ones today so stay tuned for more yummy meals. I'll post recipes we really like too!
