Whirlwind

Jayne, Grandma & Grandpa

Thursday afternoon I picked Jared up from the airport and we headed straight to Ohio. We stayed halfway with Jared's aunt Cathy (thank you so much, Cath!!!) then drove to Columbus, had breakfast with my Grandma, aunts/uncles and cousin and then continued on our way to Sylvania.

We arrived at my parents house around 3pm Friday...hung out with my parents and Jared's mom...had a rehearsal dinner at 5pm....wedding rehearsal at 7:30pm and went to Frogtown Johnnies for Jared's 10 year high school reunion preparty. Saturday we left the house at 10am and didn't get home until 11pm due to wedding festivities and the reunion. It was a looooong day and we were all exhausted!! But the wedding was wonderful and we are so glad we were able to catch up with friends and family!! Jayne did wonderfully in the car...she's becoming quite the little traveler!!
The wedding party arrive on restored wooden boats...JR & Welter look like secret service!

Mr. & Mrs. Lucius!!!

Jared then flew home to Charlotte Sunday morning and I'm staying in Sylvania for the week with my parents. I am so excited to relax, check out the changes around town and see old friends. I'm having dinner with three of my girlfriends from hs and yesterday I spent some time with the Romanoff's...I started baby-sitting Jack 7 Olivia when I was about 11 years old. It made me feel so old to see Jack & Liv holding my daughter. Crazy how time flies. I wish Liv lived near us so she could baby-sit for us!!!

Wed. is my 26th bday...can't believe it. I'm having a hard time with this one...not sure why, maybe b/c I'm a mommy now and I just feel OLD. We're going to go to the zoo, have a picnic and go to dinner. Should be a good day!! This week will go by so fast and will be bittersweet b/c we wont see our parents for a few months. we've gotten spoiled seeing them so much this summer. My parents have been with us for five out of the eight weeks of Jayne's life!
