So I've been slacking...sorry mom! We've been busy and lazy around here and trying to get little miss back on a nap schedule. Not an easy task!

We've been playing out side...going swimming...taking our first wagon rides...fun with friends to name a few things. Here are some picts!

Our sweet girl keeps me on my toes as she gains more and more independence. She fell on the toy in the above pictures and scrapped her eye pretty good. We thought she'd have a black eye for sure but she just has a scrape at the corner of her right eye and on her forehead. We were both watching her and don't really know what she hit it on, but it swelled pretty quickly and was all red/purple. She wouldn't let me put ice on it but after her nap it was just a little red and puffy and today just has the scrapes. Thank goodness!

Jayne isn't walking yet but is so close. The past couple weeks she has been gaining confidence to let go of the couch or window sill and stand on her own, but she seems so unsure of herself walking. I'm not rushing or worrying...she'll do it when she wants to. It doesn't take much to get her to laugh these days. I spend most of my days making funny sounds or faces to get her to laugh. She is getting to be a little picky when it comes to food and I'm trying hard to get her to eat veggies, but she just wants bread and cheese or whatever I'm eating!

Next month we go on our big five year anniversary trip sans baby and we are so excited. We are counting down the days for some time sleeping in, laying on the beach and eating yummy food. Ahhh, can't come soon enough! Though next up is my Grandma's 80th bday party/family reunion in July. Can't wait to see everyone...we will only be missing Justin, Sarah and Lily...so sad they can't make it but having a baby will do that to you...at least for the first couple months =) We'll miss you guys!
