MOPS

I am so excited! I had been looking for a MOPS group in our area and saw the Fort Mill group at a new church we tried last week. They had an open house today so I went and checked it out. I didn't think I would be able to join at first b/c, preparing for the new house, we are saving every penny, but I found out they had a payment plan which worked out great for us, so I was able to join. I have always associated MOPS with being a SAHM, so I feel like a "real" SAHM now =)

I'm excited to do something outside of our Life Group. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my LG girls/mommies, but its nice to meet people outside of that, make new friends, get advice from mommies at different stages of life, etc. I can't wait for it to start! MOPS meets twice a month, usually every other Friday from 930-1130am. And while I am at group, Jayne is off playing and socializing with her new little friends, which I think will be very good for her (and me!). We are placed at tables randomly with 8-10 other moms and this table will be our "home" for the year. Each table has a leader and back-up leader and will set up play-groups and mommy night outs, outside of group time. I am looking really forward to this!
