Randomness

 Now that I am doing the Project 365 I feel like I don't actually blog at all...not that I have much interesting to say, just making a point! After 10 days of being a single parent (at 9 months preggers, by the way) I am definitely done. Even though Jared works all day, having the support and help at night really does make a difference. I can't wait for him to be home for a few days and have someone to hang out with. Not to mention poor Jayne misses her daddy and thinks he lives in my phone! Any time it rings she yells "daddy!!" We've definitely kept busy with play dates and errands and such. Its kept us distracted to say the least, but I've definitely felt myself slow down a ton more this week. Gotta get ready for #2 to make his or her appearance and rest up as much as humanly possible.

My girlfriends from MOPS are throwing us a shower next week which will be fun. It is always hard to get a group of women together but I think we are going to have a brunch at someones house where the kiddos can all run around and play while we visit and open presents and such. I'm excited =) My table of women are wonderful and I'm really enjoying getting to know them all. We really don't need much for #2...just the basics, diapers, wipes, bath stuff, etc. But I think I've decided that I need a new diaper bag too. One thing I've learned being a mommy is that it is very hard finding a diaper bag. I've gone through a few with Jayne but finally found a Vera Bradley bag that I loved. Its just not big enough for two sets of diapers/wipes, clothes etc. I think I want to go with a backpack style that can also be a messenger bag, you know, since I'll be juggling two kids and all!! I found a cool designer type brand called Ju Ju Be...so I'm hinting for that for Valentines day...even though Jared hates Valentines day or the "Hallmark Holiday" as he calls it. Maybe he'll take pity on me for his being away so much =)

Another side note...The cat is now on Prozac and *knock on wood* hasn't had an accident in the house for two days. Hopefully that will continue. He is a good cat and I love him...he's been sleeping on my head (literally) while Jared's been away. His purring wakes me up at times and I have to push him off!! And right now he is laying in front of the keyboard while I type. He's really just hungry and wants me to feed him. Have I mentioned he's high maintenance???? =)

Anyways, thats about all I've got...off to bed. And yes its only 730pm. My life is that exciting =)
