More Nesting

This weekend Jared got in on the "nesting" action! Our baby furniture came in and Jared surprised me by picking up one of the pieces Friday before I got home from Atlanta. But before we could move it into the nursery, we had to shampoo the carpets. Jared was wonderful and worked all weekend shampooing every carpeted inch of our house. Its amazing what comes up even though we vacuum all the time. He did an awesome job!

It rained for three days straight and so we thought that the perfect Sunday, rainy day activity would be to pick up the crib and put it together. Unfortunately the box was so large that we had to rent a van form Home Depot to pick it up with...only to get it home and find out the two side rails of the crib were damaged. We were so bummed. Luckily we called Babies r Us and they ordered only the two parts we need so we don't have to take everything back. Bad news is it will be a few weeks before we can get the crib put together. And get this....they are out of baby mattresses. I mean come on!!! No mattresses in the entire store...crazy!! Stay tuned for nursery updates!
