At Monkey Joes, Jayne just wanted to go on all the "big kid" slides/jumpers...which would have been no big deal if I wasn't pregnant and could "assist" her. But they wouldn't let me on them and I didn't know since it was my first time. Next time we will bring daddy along to help!
Last night we rang in the New Year at the "First Annual Family New Years Bash" thrown by our neighbors. We had so much fun! All of our immediate neighbors came (there are five families currently living on our street) along with other families from different parts of the neighborhood. We went over around 7pm and took Jayne with us for about and hour then brought her back to our place and Jared's aunt & uncle were here to put her to bed for us and stay at the house while we partied the night away! We came home around 1230 to relieve them...I stayed home, went to bed and Jared headed back to the party until about 2am. Lets just say that a lot of alcohol was consumed by everyone (but me...for the third year in a row!) and I was very surprised the men were feeling well enough to play some pick up basketball this afternoon! We are so excited to have neighbors who like to get together and have parties, play in the street with kids, etc. We hardly ever saw our neighbors at the last house so this is a nice change!
Here are some late picts of Jared & Jayne making a snow man last week and Jayne loving snowballs being thrown at her and her throwing some herself!
Check out our new front porch rockers & table...thanks to Mom, Dad, Justin, Sarah & Jared's
aunt and uncle. We can't wait for many summer days/nights sitting watching the kiddos play
Our little snowman...he has straw for hair, rocks for eyes and orange cable flags for arms!
