Jayne played with her baby feeding, changing & rocking her for at least an hour today. I even got the baby car seat out so she could practice buckling and unbuckling her baby. She is going to be such a big help (I hope!!) when the baby comes!
She is definitely acting like she feels better but that darn cough just wont go away. The dr. increased her cough medicine dosage today and if it doesn't get better by Saturday they want us to call back. Dr. said its just b/c of all the drainage going on, but it sounds awful.
I found out today that my favorite Dr isn't being allowed to practice at my delivery hospital. They are making him go to Huntersville which is about 45 minutes from here and just too far for us to transfer to, although we'd love to! I have a feeling for political reasons the medical group he is associated with is making sure he can't take patients with him which was what his old practice was so fearful of. Grrr, I feel so bad for him and for us. He is a wonderful dr and we will miss him. Can't get away from politics no matter what you do!
Oh and if you needed any more reason to believe that Jayne has some of my genes in her...the girl has a major purse/bag fetish. Now I admit that I do...I have at least 20 different purses. But she will play with any bag for hours. Case in point, she took the Olive Garden leftover bag from dinner the other night and turned it into her purse. She puts all of her trinkets in it and carries it around the house saying "bye, shopping". In toddler speak she is saying "Good-bye, I'm going shopping". Such a girly-girl and I love that about her!
