Day 1-

It is 930pm on our first official day of vacation. Whew, I am one exhausted momma! All in all I am thrilled with how today went. We had to wake the girls up at 530am to catch our flight and they both did amazingly well all day. I couldn't believe Jayne was still awake after not taking a nap today! Jared's dad's family had a four hour delay due to a really bad storm that came through right after we landed in Tampa so we had a late diner with them after they arrived. Can I just get a hallelujah that it was them and not us??!! (no offense guys!!) I mean our girls were great on the plan and we received lots of comments on that, but it was only for an hour. I can't imagine being stuck on the tarmac for four hrs with them. It could have been ugly!!

Our condo unit is awesome. We have an amazing view of the gulf and its an end unit on the 6th floor so we get lots of light. Its a one bedroom so this is our first experiment with both girls sleeping in the same room. So far so good. Both are asleep in the living room as we speak! I have pictures but my camera is somewhere in the living room and I am not brave enough to try and find it for fear of waking my monsters sweet little ladies up! Ha ha...seriously I jest...I am so proud of them today. For being up that early and staying up two hrs past bedtime we only dealt with one mini meltdown form Miss S. It only took a few minutes of cuddles with momma and a little thumb sucking and she was out cold. I love that she found her thumb. Its a sure fire sign that she is sleepy! B/c of her flat head issues on her left side I've tried swaddling her left hand to force her to turn her head to the right and suck that thumb. Let em tell you...she ain't having it!! She would cry for awhile but as soon as I unswaddled her left hand she would suck her thumb and go to sleep. So I've given in...she wins. We try to do tummy time and bumbo sittin' during the day but in the end if she has to wear a helmet...it is what it is. I can't force her to like her right side!!
Anyways...I'm beat and going to bed (after I play me some angry birds of course!!). Jared and I both got new phones yesterday and they are awesome and yes, I am addicted to angry birds. Its just too fun!!
