Discipline

 I feel like all I do lately is discipline Jayne. She is at that age where her strong willed nature is shinning through and we butt heads constantly. Her favorite word is "no" and she constantly does the opposite of what I ask. She is getting better about doing what I ask when I do the age old countdown...one-two...either she does it by three or we go to time out. If its more serious she gets a spanking. But I hate that we go round and round all day and she is in time out multiple times and has multiple spankings.

Sooo, I'm trying something new. Positive reinforcement. We have a glass jar and when Jayne does something good or something I ask the first time or our big one...poo poo on the potty...she gets to put a plastic ball in her jar. Since poo poo is something I am desperately working on with her, she gets three balls in her jar for that!

Once she fills up the jar she gets to pick out something from our treasure box. She gets so excited when she gets to put a ball in her jar. Praying this works and we see some positive attitude from her soon =)
