Since there isn't much for us to do at this point of the pregnancy...we've decided to start registering. What an overwhelming process! I have to admit, Babies R Us scares me a little. Not only is the store itself huge, but how are you supposed to pick between this stroller and that stroller or this bottle or that bottle ( by the way for those that don't know...the bottle isle alone is gigantic and there are hundreds of different kids!!).
We're going to celebrate our "halfway" point by doing the big registry next weekend, but we registered for bedding and a few other items at Pottery Barn Kids the other night. Since we don't know the sex of the baby, but still want to have the nursery decorated before the baby arrives, we had to go with unisex bedding. Let me tell you, unisex bedding is not very cute. It's either very babyish with lambs & teddy bears or just plain ugly. We finally decided to go with plain white bedding with navy blue trim (we're going to repaint the nursery a light khaki color). This way if its a girl we can add pink or a boy we can add red, but at least we have the base for the design before he or she arrives.
