We're home!!! We were at the hospital for almost 48 hours on the nose (arrived Sunday at 9:30am and left at 9:40am Tuesday). Both baby and momma were checked out by doctors this morning and given a perfect bill of health.
Jayne was given her hearing test last night and failed in one ear so the new day nurse had her retested before we left and she passed. The ear buds they put on the babies were too big for her so that's why they think she failed the first time...our little peanut is so tiny! We had to run out yesterday to buy preemie outfits. and those are still big!
Tummy time...Mally is very curious of this new addition!
Surprisingly enough, my milk is already coming in. The lactation consultant was very impressed and said that she hardly gets to see that with mothers before they leave the hospital, so I was thrilled. Jayne is eating like a champ and we're trying to get her on some sort of schedule, so far she's doing every 3 hours pretty well. We'll see how the rest of the day goes!
