Today we also gave in and gave her a pacifier. Since she slept the whole time we were shopping, once I took her out of her car seat she woke up and was angry. I think she was just over tired and couldn't get back to sleep, but nothing would stop her crying and she still had 1.5 hours until the next feeding. So we gave her the pacifier and she took it like a pro. We didn't have to hold it or anything....and I feel like a bad Momma.
I know its just a pacifier, but I worry that she won't breastfeed well anymore and she's been doing so well. But she seems to always want to suck on something whether it be her blanket or fist (even after she's eaten). I hope this guilt goes away, the pacifier seems to really calm her down. Ahhh, I'm so torn!- T -
