Picking strawberries for the first time (for both of us!!) Jayne ate most of the ones she picked. She would take a bite and throw the other half in our basket. She also loved picking the ones that weren't ripe yet. Oops! The farm we went to was right by our old house and we passed it all the time but never went before today. It was awesome! The berries weren't picked over yet so we got a lot of yummy ones and a strawberry/peach slushie and yummy garlic salsa. It was a lot of fun. It was pretty hard to chase Jayne, carry Savannah AND pick strawberries, but we did it! Tomorrow morning I plan to make strawberry waffles (and some plain ones with gamin...hmmm, I'll be dreaming of that tonight!!)
